Thank you to all the supporters of my campaign for Place 8 - At Large on the Grand Prairie City Council.

Unfortunately, we were not successful in winning the seat, but I am proud of the effort put in, particularly given the time, tools and resources available in the short time of this Special Election campaign period.

I stand behind all that I did and said during the campaign and remain resolute in my desire to serve the community in some capacity.

Thank you for your support and encouragement along the way. I count myself fortunate to have had the experience and have grown closer to friends and supporters, and to have met new, like-minded people along the way.

Michelle is running for Grand Prairie City Council with a commitment to ensuring that as we experience growth, expansion, and prosperity,

all perspectives are considered.

Michelle was the President and CEO of the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce for more than 6 years, she remains connected and familiar with local business and city management.

She welcomes business and growth, but NOT at the expense of the residents.
She promotes transparency when managing the City budget and the decisions on spending.
She has no trouble voting against the group if it means protecting your interests.
We need someone willing to consider options and opportunities, always keeping the current and future impacts to people, property and quality of living, in mind.

Imagine a city that plans a future to benefit both the emerging developments and the well-established neighborhoods. Michelle's goals of bringing people together, respecting differences and working toward common goals will make Grand Prairie continue to be a community everyone is proud to call home.

We need this seat filled by a citizen just like you, who has served locally for years, your hometown representative, and that's Michelle Madden.
